Author Mariah K Porter

Mariah K. Porter grew up in Sacramento, California, and currently resides in Utah Valley. She aspires to create community and inspire hope in all aspects of life, including in and through her writing. Much of her work involves mental health advocacy. Of her published books, one is self-help addressing how to battle procrastination caused by depression and three are fractured fairy tales about characters with mental illness. When she isn't writing or working you can find her volunteering with various nonprofits, singing karaoke in her car, or focusing on growing the stability of her life for her and her young children.
